Barracks Renovation

Senate Builders finished the barracks renovation in May 2010, two months ahead of schedule. Senate provided for the design and renovation of 7 wooden barracks facilities, which were originally constructed in 1941. All barracks facilities were to be designed and upgraded to enhance living conditions for soldiers and bring the facilities up to standard for energy efficiency and code compliance. The interior of the facilities was designed as an open bay with the exception of cadre rooms located on one end of each floor. All interior doors were designed to be replaced with solid core doors and new frames. Each barracks included plumbing fixture upgrades, new HVAC systems including ductwork and controls, and a complete electrical renovation with new circuits and all-new lighting fixtures throughout.
